DESCRIPTION:Event Description\nJoin representatives from the Public Services Health & Safety Association (PSHSA)\, Nurses and Nurse Practitioners of BC (NNPBC)\, and the BC Dental Hygienists’ Association (BCDHA) for a webinar on workplace violence prevention\, de-escalation\, and post-incident response in healthcare settings\, with a focus on nurses\, nurse practitioners\, and dental hygienists in British Columbia. \nGrounded in BC occupational health and safety requirements and trauma-informed\, culturally safe practices\, this webinar will explore factors that contribute to workplace violence\, practical de-escalation techniques\, personal safety considerations\, organizational responsibilities\, and reporting requirements. \nParticipants will also learn about post-incident response strategies\, including reporting\, recovery\, and available supports and resources. The webinar will include interactive polling and a moderated Q&A period.
